Printable spice jar labels
On a spice rack many jars look the same, and paprika easily ends up next to smoked paprika. Small, easy-to-read labels save the search and make the rack look great.
The list of 20 spices is already set to the small 40 × 25 mm size. For lids switch to round Ø 40 mm. If a spice is missing, just type it in.

Tips
Lid and side
In a drawer you only see the lid. Print the list twice: round for the lid, small for the side.
Sort alphabetically
Sort the list before printing, then stick the labels on in the same order as your rack.
Label your blends
Use the second line for your own blends: “Curry | mild” or “Seasoning | herbs”.
Pick a readable font
On very small labels “Modern” and “Apothecary” are a little easier to read than the script.
Size and paper
Spice jars suit “Small 40 × 25 mm”, lids “Round Ø 40 mm”. Pre-cut round sheets such as HERMA 4476 have Ø 40 mm labels.

Frequently asked questions
What size should spice labels be?
For most spice jars 40 × 25 mm on the side or Ø 40 mm on the lid is enough. Very small shakers suit a 38 × 21 mm label.
Can I print round spice labels?
Yes. In the editor set “Set all to” to “Round Ø 40” and every label turns round. With the HERMA 4476 sheet there is nothing to cut.
Is the spice list available in German too?
Yes, the German page has the same list with German names.
